Qatar Energy joins Shell and SMH in Block C10

On Saturday, September 16, 2023, the Noble Voyager drilling rig began drilling the Panna- Cotta-1 exploration well in the C10 block of the national offshore.
This well targeting carbonate reservoirs, if positive, will open up a new play that has been little explored until now, with very significant potential hydrocarbon resources.
The block is operated by Shell with Qatar Energy and SMH as partners.
